What is an audit?

The form that an audit takes depends greatly on the client. The overall aim of an audit is for the auditor to form an independent opinion regarding the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements for a given period by examining the company's records.

Non statutory audit - Even though many businesses don't need an audit by law, many of our clients still choose to have one, as there are tremendous benefits available. Indeed there are strong commercial arguments for having an audit, such as keeping the banks happy, providing additional assurance to members and giving you the comfort of knowing that you have strong controls and accurate results.

Statutory audit - An audit's no less valuable because its been forced upon you by law. You'll end up with a wealth of information that can be used to fine tune your business and boost your profits to the max.
